Seminars
Helping business learn winning techniques of proposal development. Whether you are a small business or a large corporation, an Award Group seminar will give you the edge.
Award Publications Group hosts one day seminars to educate businesses on the best techniques suited for proposal development and 255-254 qualifications document responses. The seminar is presented in three segments:
  1. Rules for proposal submission, database information, how to ensure compliance, and where to concentrate the effort
  2. Proposal layout and design, graphics, control of iteration process, and submission
  3. Lessons learned - pitfalls to avoid
The way in which most new business is captured -- for both large and small business -- is through proposals. One of the things a big business priming to build a petrochemical plant and a small business responding to a subcontract for that petrochemical plant have in common is that they went after the work in the same manner -- through a proposal. Who you are and what you do, your track record, and your price are common denominators for winning new business. Knowing clients' needs and developing the proposal to present your business properly are basic to all contract awards.

Award Group will show you how to analyze an RFP/RFQ, how to structure your response, how to make sure you are compliant, pitfalls to avoid, how to work with authors, how to build relationships with clients/teaming partners, and how to control your delivery response. Seminar guests will be provided with a notebook of presentation slides and material.
